Clear Ice
TEMPER YOUR ICE - INSTRUCTIONS

Tempering ice results in clearer, more durable ice cubes that melt more slowly and uniformly in drinks.

When ice is very cold and comes into contact with a warmer liquid, the rapid temperature change can cause the ice to crack or fracture, sometimes creating a cloudy appearance.

By allowing the ice to warm slightly before adding it to a drink, the temperature difference is reduced, minimizing the risk of cracking and preserving the ice's clarity.

Simply let your ice cubes sit at room temperature for a few minutes before using them. The exact time will depend on the size of the ice and the temperature of the room, but it usually takes a few minutes for a single cube to temper.

Cheers.
